FEA VALIDATED PARACHUTE MOUNTS

Experimental and FEA testing confirmed that the mount's yield strength was sufficient, validating the design's effectiveness. This allowed the use of a lighter insulation material, resulting in a weight savings of 500 grams, and a 50% weight reduction compared to previous mounts.

MODULAR INTERNAL STRUCTURE

Different missions require varying sensor suites and power sources, but they often rely on the same primary computer. The challenge was to develop a reliable, "hot-swappable" internal structure that maintains the compactness of a hardwired solution. This resulted in a layered design with an LED indicator to confirm proper alignment and connection between the layers.
